Started Planting a Garden
March 13th, 2009
Today in fact! The first step I really had to take care of was procuring the seeds and turning the soil in the 5×15 little garden. After work today I turned in approximately 3 cubic feet of peat moss to make sure everything drains well.
Currently as it stands (and once the weather gets nicer) I’m planning on growing the following:
- An assortment of peppers (for jarring and eating later). The most important out of the bunch are the Hungarian Hot peppers. Those should be yummy.
- Tomato Plants (called Big Rainbow).
- Catnip
- Cilantro
- Carrots
- Zucchini
- and Basil!
Hopefully I’ll get a lot of it to grow…maybe so much so the yield will have to be distributed throughout work! Pictures when I officially start planting.
