So it was supposed to snow this evening here in Virginia.  No snow…nothing.  I really would like to have a good snow like Pittsburgh…but that isn’t gonna happen down here like it would up there.

In between doing sets of laundry and cleaning the apartment (and a few other things around my domicile) I ended up watching the movie Saw IV.  I’m not sure what necessarily pushed me to put that in the Netflix queue, or, why I watched it when it came to my house.  But…giving it a chance to provide some suspense…I gave it a try.  That movie was just pure crap.  CRAP!  It seemed as though the key method of the movie has been recycled from Saw III.  The gore was crap, and the drama just shouldn’t be there…

Keeping it a trilogy would have been best.

I was thinking that the ice would subside over night…instead it seems to have gotten worse throughout the evening. A tree, which usually stands straight up, was bending over because of all the ice.

All is well on the south-eastern front today though. My girlfriend, however, appears to have gotten the worst of it…almost 10″. The webcams do show quite a bit of snow and I think now they’re starting to get the freezing rain. Maybe I’ll get to see the northern snow this weekend!
